Re: how do i delete my account
Best wishes to you and hope your appointment goes well. Good advice from Tech Guy regarding exercise, sunshine and staying busy. It may not be the whole answer but it will help. Make yourself do it and do stay around.

Hi - little reminder about something... if you're on (or going to be on) meds for depression, talk to your doctor about having apnea because some of those meds can make apnea worse, though certainly not all. Maybe others here could give some experiences they might have had with different ones (I don't use them myself).
Re: how do i delete my account
Well, I guess they could, but I know several people on antidepressants and they haven't made sleep apnea worse. Yes, talking to a doctor about this is a good idea.Julie wrote:Hi - little reminder about something... if you're on (or going to be on) meds for depression, talk to your doctor about having apnea because some of those meds can make apnea worse, though certainly not all. You should be getting 2 different full face masks and a brand new hose Mon or Tues. Maybe one or both will help. Keep checking in with us, we care about you.

Re: how do i delete my account
Fordjx400,
The one thing i can do is pray. Before i posted I added you to my prayer journal. After my head injury I did not have depression but my brain was bruised and damaged so bad it was pathetic. My brain doctor said my brain stopped making seretonin and other essential brain function chemicals in correct combination. One night I found myself parked in a parking lot not knowing where I was supposed to be. I called my wife who said with it being dark outside should be coming home. She had to help me figure out where I was and talk me tbrough all the turns home. She would call me every day around 2pm and ask if I had eaten lunch. I would have to go look in the work fridve to see if it was there or gone before I could answer. I could remember what I had eaten every day the week before but immediate short term memory was toast. She had to make me detailed lists with a copy for her and call me throughout the day to see if I was following my list. Had kept appointments in my Droid phone but forgot how to work it. It was all so frustrating.
My doctor had to keep running tests and using low dose antidepressents to balance my brain chemistry. Lsxapro was 1st to help then something changed so he just kept changing meds as my brain healed and chemistry changed. We never thought to look at my apnea till later and discovered I was now having an amazing number of centrals to add to my previous obstructive apnea. Every month was a diccerent medication and sometimes we reverted to previous meds. He finally put me on Vibryd which was the ticket. New antidepressent super drug. For depression daily dose is generally 40 mg but my seratonin leveled out with 10 mg.
Then my pituitary gland went haywire sending my testosterone level from a normal of 12 down to 2 so onto the test suppliment I went. Next my thyroid went hyper, then normal, then hyper, then died completely thus now on synthroid rest of life. Next went the adrenal glands and now I take Cortef. Each time an organ went loopy my mental state followed. I suggest a good work up from an internal mexicine doctor before you dig too deep into mental care. One little organ not acting right will mess with your head. He says he gets lots of patients that were being treated cor depression and it turned out to be a symptom of a physical issue rather than in their head. While I am not a doctor and do not know your symptomology a trip to the internest may find something of value to help. He estimates 30% of people being treated cor depression have an internal organ problem causing the symptoms. I suggest folks look at all possibilities before just going on antidepressants. Just a thought from personal experience. If it is your brain the Vibryd while expensive really leveled me out. Now I dont have to take any antidepressants now that my tbyroid, testosterone and adrenals are being treated. But back to where I sfarted. You are on my prayer warrior list which botb my wife and I use and my Sat morn prayer group. Good luck.

Hi fordjx4000
I haven't been around very often this days and I haven't had the pleasure to meet you until now.
I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Please don't leave the forum, you are appreciated and you will find support on this difficult time. With some time things will become better and you will be well. All of us have had hard times in life one manner or other, we can understand your situation.
And please don't stop at comments as those of Avi123 (a lot of members and myself we are in its foes list from time ago and only for free) he is the one who should delete his account since he seems to know how to do it !
Stay with us Ford, we mean good for you. Have a wonderful day

Most of us CPAPtalk'rs occasionally get knocked down for the count and have to sit out a few rounds. Feel free to drift away for awhile, then when you get your feet back on the ground, come back and visit with us to share what you've learned. (sorry for all the metaphors )

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
