This forum has come a long way since that time. But I would hate to see it slide back to the way that it once was.
You have no idea about the history of this forum.

I started reading here about 2005. It was already a very helpful forum them and has very consistently been a good forum in the years since.

I'm fine, thanks very much.

But after a review of your posts, it's pretty obvious you ARE an asshole.
Well thank you for stopping by and reviewing my posts. Also thank you for delivering your very insightful critique.
I think the avatar you have is quite telling ... you appear to be hiding behind a costume. Would this be a drive-by attack? I will admit I am guilty of doing that to another forum. It didn't help so I stopped. Is this retaliation?

I won't put words in everyone's mouth, but I believe the vast majority here believe we are NOT practicing medicine. We are sharing our knowledge freely. I can't believe how many people are given a simple brick of a CPAP machine and sent on their way with little regard to anything but whether they are compliant. They're trying! They can't get to sleep, or they can and still feel awful so why bother? Well we try very hard to help those people find a cause so they can continue with therapy. I believe we expect that person to ALSO be working with their extended medical team, of which they need to be a part. Anyone, doctor, patient, whatever, deserves the ability to be able to learn as much as possible about any of their medical conditions, therapy, and treatment. How can that be wrong?
When I first got my CPAP, no one even told me the that you need to keep your mouth closed and such.

Jeff thank you for sharing your music with us. I love it. I was thinking how nice it would be to have someone sing a special love song just for and to me. My husband can not carry a tune in a bucket. I then realized everything my husband does for me is his own special love song. I am so blessed to have him. He is cute too.

Ssh, I had the pleasure of hearing Jeff's music long ago and when I was done "swooning" I forwarded it to my daughter who was just starting to compose some of her own music at the time. Now in her spare time when she's not lawyering she plays "gigs" on weekends with a little band she formed. So we're all just one big happy family!

You are both welcome. My stuff can be a bit of an acquired taste, so I don't expect it to be everyone's cup of tea. It is a side hobby just for fun, so feel free to use the songs any way you like. I move around where I post my songs, though, never leaving them posted anywhere for long, so I suggest you download anything you like enough to hear again.

My understanding is that when God joins two electric stormclouds, they then become one flash.

As for the good-looking-avatar award, my opinion is that Dori has us all beat hands down. (Much thanks to her grand kids for that!)

I sure miss his posts.

I promise not to post in any of his threads if he chooses to post publicly again.

OMG that is a great avatar ... thanks JNK ... showing me that was a nice little pick-me-up. I haven't been here long enough to see any of his posts...

Ah yes, I miss him too! I liked him(but not his beard ) and I always had the feeling that despite the time-outs I imposed on you guys, you both respected each other. I did keep in contact with him for awhile and hope he's well.
