I am having trouble with leaks that wake me up so I am asking for help to make sure I understand what the graph is showing me:
I am disregarding the very first leak as that was just the mask coming right out of my nose while getting settled in bed. Am I correct in assuming that the leaks from 23:00 - 4:00 are probably due to mouth leaks? 3 of the leaks appear to be in large leak territory, but for only a short time. Not sure if any of them woke me up, but I'm just trying to understand what I am seeing.
I bought some gentle breathable tape and I am going to try taping the mask so that it doesn't come out of my nose to see if that helps.
Arthur Schopenhauer - Sleep is the interest we have to pay on the capital which is called in at death; and the higher the rate of interest and the more regularly it is paid, the further the date of redemption is postponed.

Yes, the leaks with the plateaus are likely related to mouth breathing.
I can't get my Photobucket to load to show you an example of similar plateau provided by ResMed as part of their manual for their software and it mentions likely mouth breathing leak. I have a screen shot of it but can't get Photobucket to load to show you.
I am fairly familiar with the plateau leak myself...and yes, sometimes I mouth breath but unless it wakes me up or spends a prolonged length of time above 24 L/min I don't worry about it.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
