? to those who went S8 AutoSet to S9 AutoSet

Did you notice any therapeutic difference between the two? My S8 is 5 years plus and was considering purchasing a new S9 AutoSet. Is it worth the upgrade?

You won't need the proprietary card reader--just regular SD card in it.
Never had an S8, but have heard the S9 color display has the most on machine info.
I really like mine.

I went from S8 to S9. It was a smooth transition. My pressure remained the same. The S9 is somewhat quieter than the S8 and of course there is the capability of seeing your data with the SD card.

Of course no one knows for sure when the S10 will be out.

But, if your S8 is still operable, "I" might consider holding out a bit longer for the S10.

I've never used any ResMed machines, but I've been aware that they went to a different algorithm with the S9. The S8 and previous generations used the A10 algorithm which tried to avoid apneas above the pressure of 10 cm. (hence the A10 name of the algorithm) for fear of creating pressure induced Central Apneas.
From everything I've been reading, it's a much better machine for any number of reasons.

Your call.

I read here that the S8 recorded many more hypops which was corrected with the S9.
