Question on importing data using Sleephead
I've successfully imported my data through August 9, the date of my last visit to my sleep doctor, but I can't seem to import the data since that date. There does appear to be data on the card through today, but when I click on import I'm not able to actually import the new data to my iMac. I've tried both clicking on "The Usual" as well as "New Location" and neither works. Is there something basic that I'm overlooking?
Thanks very much!

I dont know about Macs, but I had this problem and figured out that the sd card was not in the card reader correctly. Did you check that?

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Thanks, Oak. I did. I removed the card and reinserted it twice. The green light comes on on my card reader and the yellow light at the top comes on when I click on import, but the new data doesn't appear to be there.

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Try creating a new user profile and see if you can import to it.
I don't know anything about Macs though.
Are you getting any messages when you try to import and can't?

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Its a PITA, but you could try creating a new SleepyHead user and see if the data will import for the new SH user.
Also check the time stamps on the data on the card. You can do that in Finder: Select one of the (last) files on the data card and look at it's "Created date". Make sure there is data that was written to the card after August 9.
Another PITA thing to try is this: Put a different SD card into the System One. All the important data except for the wave flow will be written to the new card. When you import the data into SleepyHead, you should get the events table and Pressure and Leak graphs as normal, but the wave flow won't be there. If you use the new card in the machine the next night, you'll get wave flow for that night and all subsequent nights that you use the new card.

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Pugsy and robysue:
OK. I created a new user profile and tried to import that way, but the data is still not showing up.
The time stamps on the data card are fine, and show that there is data on the card through today.
I don't have another card that will fit into the System One, but I could purchase one I suppose. However, given that the data appears to be on the card I have, I'd like very much to figure out how to import that. Perhaps my doctor's office will have success in importing the data using their system when I go back for my next appointment in a few weeks.
Thanks!

Do you get any messages or does it just do nothing?
You may have to install SleepyHead and the Patch file again if you are absolutely sure that it isn't the card reader that is acting up.

No message. It just doesn't do anything.
Sorry, but could you please remind me where to find these to reinstall?

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Be sure you're trying to import the right directory.
Highlight the SD card itself and "chose" in SleepyHead. Don't open the directory.
I know you've done this before, but lots of people have trouble with going into the wrong directory.

SleepyHead download page here..Jimbo's Mac build
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/
The Patch file thread here
viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html
and I think the Mac Patch is on page 3 of that thread.

I wondered about that archangel. But highlighting the card doesn't work either.

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
That worked, Pugsy. Thanks very much! I'll make a note this time of where to find the software and patch, just in case I need them again.

Re: Question on importing data using Sleephead
Sounds like SleepyHead broke for some reason.
Just one of the joys of having software I guess. I think that the 60 series stuff makes it a little more finicky.
