If your looking for Kind Removal SiliconeTape

Post by jazzer4 » Fri Jul 26, 2013 6:02 pm

Someone on the forum recommended 3M Kind Removal Silicone Tape but could only find it on-line at 3M eStore.
I found it at Walgreens sold as 3M Nexcare Sensitive skin. It is the same things.
It was $7.50 a roll. But they only had it in 1" and I prefer 1 1/2 or 2".
I did order 2 roll on-line from 3M eStore but the shipping was $8.00 for two little rolls. I believe each roll was $6.50 but it was 2".

This tape is so nice compared to blue painters tape which I've used for years.
And, if you need to remove it, you can put it back on and it sticks.

Hi,

The Walgreen's in my area (upper midwest) carry the 2 inch 3M Nexcare. In fact, it has been on sale this past month on a buy one get one free deal if you have a Walgreens rewards card. That brings the price down to about $4 per roll, so I bought a bunch of them.

Thanks John I'll ask them to order the two inch for me.
$4:00 a roll is a great price.
I'll check the Sunday add for a sale price in my area.

Thanks for the info.

I bought two rolls of the one-inch Nexcare Sensitive Skin Low Trauma Tape at WAlgreen's today. It was BOGO so I got two rolls for $7.99 and they took two 55-cent coupons I had with me.

I run the tape vertical and only cover about 60% of my mouth so it is not much of a problem to tear off two one-inch wide short pieces.

Wait until my husband sees I am using "low trauma" tape. He will surely say, "You need low drama tape."

Is this the Kind Removal Silicon Tape?

http://www.amazon.com/Nexcare-Gentle-Pa ... 007XTLM6W/

Most of the tapes I find are "breathable". This defeats the reason I tape. I don't want air going through it.

No, not at all. That is the tape I have been trying and it nearly pulls my lips off when removing in the mornings.

Here is the one you want:

http://www.nexcare.com/wps/portal/3M/en ... 816&rt=rud

It is 3M Nexcare Sensitive Skin Low Trauma Tape. (Good luck finding anything wider than one-inch. I could not.)

Note at the bottom of the page for 3M Nexcare Sensitive Skin Low Trauma Tape, it says the "hospital name" is 3M™ Kind Removal.

They use two different names for the same tape. One name is used in the consumer market where they have to compete with price. The other name is used in the hospital market where our regulators have rigged stupid laws so badly that they avoid competition and can charge higher prices.

Well, I received this order from Drugstore.com, but it was 1 inch instead of 1.5 inch as listed.
