Bummer. Lost Quattro Air

Post by NeedHelp2 » Thu Aug 15, 2013 6:48 pm

I ordered a Quattro Air from cpap.com and they shipped it USPS First Class. Today, tracking shows delivery, but I didn't receive it. Cpap.com told me they will contact the post office and get back with me.

Thank you, Oak. I was really needing to try a FFM. I'm having trouble with my nasal mask.

I have found that sometimes an apartment complex will receive packages for their residents at the leasing office. And that sometimes subdivisions will have community mailboxes where things end up I ship. If you live in those types of areas it may be worth a check.

Here in Australia we always check with the post office in case it is sitting there before contacting the seller. The mailperson might of been too lazy to ring your bell, they might of left it at another apartment, etc.

Kudos to our host for using USPS....lol. Come on, you would think a big company such as cpap.com would use FedEx or UPS especially with their prices you would think that they could at least offer a better shipping provider. Hope you get your mask my friend...

When I order from cpap.com it comes USPS and when the stuff comes UPS or Fedx it takes longer. I get quicker service with USPS.If it's USPS it comes from Huston to Pensacola. UPS or Fedx goes from Huston to Dallas and then to Atlanta. Fedx then goes to Crestview, FL for local Pensacola delivery 60 miles away. UPS goes from Atlanta to Montgomery, Al and then on to Pensacola, FL. If I order on Monday I'll get it Wednesday USPS, the other UPS and Fedx I'll get on Friday.

Sounds like the UPS driver that used to have my side of the city 3 years ago. They lost a Christmas present and now I have to pick everything up at the depot unless I pay the $40/year ransom for the "My Choice" service.

When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

I went door to door in my neighborhood today to see if someone else received it. No luck.

I wish cpap.com would have used a shipper that has a more reliable record. I had a couple neighbors tell me the same thing has happened to them.

This is medical equipment that I needed; which is why I ordered it. There is no telling how long this could take to be sorted out; all the while I have inadequate pressure therapy. I haven't heard back from Cpap.com yet.

I wish Amazon sold cpap masks!

I would think that USPS would lose things faster then other companies because I work with companies that ship to the building I am in.

Basically USPS does not require a signature for package deliveries unless it is certified. They even usually bring the wrong packages to the wrong building location. And the mail, forget about it. Almost every day on my shift I receive mail that has been delivered to the wrong address

UPS and FedEx both require signatures even if it is just one package.

Home delivery is different because I do not sign for either company whether it is USPS or UPS etc.

It could just be that the delivery man you have is just crappy in terms of delivering. Or perhaps he steals it every once in a while.

Edit: And clearly cpap.com are barely at fault with this other then them choosing to use USPS. USPS needs to get their cajoote together. Too bad many companies use USPS as a shipping method

I want everyone to know that I am confident that our host will take care of this, it is just a matter of how long it might take. I'm not bashing our host.

In my area UPS is slower has no tracking, and the drivers never hit the same neighborhood at the same time of day.
USPS and FedEx are awesome, (maybe because we give the carriers fresh produce from the garden).

Ileays had the best service with USPS. Fed ex usually delivers a day after the tracking says it will arrive. Ups is okay if we have the regular driver. I have had two backaches delivered to other addresses. One was a street over. One was 2 miles away AFTER the driver couldn't find my house and we had to call and give directions. My house is on their main route on an artery. The pass my house every day.

USPS is faster too.
