rescan problems finding data

Post by oak » Wed Aug 14, 2013 4:06 pm

i was advised to try both sleepyhead and rescan. i am having no problems with sleepyhead at all, but when i open rescan it doesn't recognize the location of my data card on the computer. what am i doing wrong? hopefully i am explaining this correctly.

Oak,

Can you tell us a bit about the computer set up?

Mac or PC?

Built-in SD slot or an SD card reader plugged into a USB port?

And is the card in the slot when you start ResScan or not?

Setup: PC Windows 7, SD card reader plugged into USB port, yes card is in the reader.

I am sure it must be a user problem, but I am pretty computer saavy and i cant seem to get it to recognize the card, while with sleepyhead and the same card in the same reader in the same USB slot-no problems.
