One Year on the Hose!

Post by JohnO » Sat Aug 10, 2013 9:43 pm

Thanks to many of the fine folks at cpaptalk.com (and especially Pugsy), I've made it through my first year on Auto-CPAP with 100% compliance (I know the usage chart looks like it has gaps, but that is some side-effort of the output)! Finding all the wonderful people willing to share was so wonderful! I felt very prepared for the therapy, thanks to the information I learned here. After the first 5 weeks or so, things settled into a routine, and I'm happy to say the therapy has been effective for me.

The most interesting side-effort of being on CPAP therapy is that I tossed and turned much less when I slept when on CPAP compared to before, which made me much more stiff and sore when I woke up! I ended up spending quite a bit of time choosing a new mattress and pillow to help with that issue.

Here are some charts for my virtual refrigerator!
