Howdy all--I fanally posted my equipment after 6 months of mostly lurking on the site and reading all the wonderful info.
A week from today will mark my 6 months on the machine. I am using the Mirage Quattro full face mask and it's ok (I guess).
Now that I have lowered the pressure from the 20 max where it was set to start and where it was blowing the mask off my face, I'm using a pressure of 11 which lets me sleep without the leaks. I do have headaches like never before and wonder if it's that forhead piece putting pressure on my head---my headaches are all right on my forhead too. I have lessened the straps as much as possible while eliminating leaks and see an AHI number of between one and two every night.
Here's my question--has anyone tried the new Mirage "Air" model mask? It's advertised as a lot lighter with a seal that uses the rubber on the mask to create the seal rather than tight strapsm, which is appealing to me. I know the Air model also has that same forhead piecs and wonder if it will be better than the Quattro as far as headaches.
There are a lot of very amart people on here and a damned site more helpful than the sleep doc I went to for a brief hello and a $300 charge! I have learned a lot from you for which I am grateful.
I'd appreciate any comments on headaches and the new Air model if some folks have tried it.
Thanks to all.

Read this thread by Denial Dave. It didn't work for my hubby but I probably didn't give it enough time, may try it again sometime if the Quattro FF starts acting up.

my pressure is just shy of 20 for IPAP & 14.4 for EPAP, so I'm where you started at before reducing your pressures.
I've never experienced headaches with 9 months of use of the Quattro and have never experienced them with my use of the Quattro AIR. So I can't help on resolving your headache concerns.
The Quattro AIR is a very nice mask......mask leaks are a non-issue with this mask & I have resolved my face fart issues with the strap setup & using pad-a-cheek mask liners that I posted in the discussion that Dori referred you to.
