Change SleepyHead graph time

Post by steveb3 » Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:30 am

I have my ResMed S9 autoset for a month and a half now and thanks to Pugsy's Pointers I downloaded SleepyHead software it downloaded fine and I was able to up load my data from the SD card as well. My question is that when I look at the graphs the time line below each graph starts at 22:00 and ends at 2:40. So that is of coarse 10:00 PM till 2:40 AM how do I scroll to the left to see the rest of the graph- I searched both youtube and online and here and all I found was right arrow, or right mouse click- neither one works. Do I need to change the time on my CPAP machine or the software. The time on my Resmed is off as well, I went and found the clinical manual online, I got to the screen and set the new time and date but when I hit save it went back to the existing incorrect date and time. Any help with both theses issues would be a great help.
Thanks in advance for any and all help
Steve

What is the clock time on the S9?
What is the real clock time where you live?
When did you try to change the clock time in relation to the clock time on the S9?
Which version of SleepyHead do you have up and running?

The S9 may not let you change the clock time on the machine if you are trying to go back in time and trying to do it prior to noon on the S9 clock....so try in the evening right before bed and see if it will work then.
Changing the clock time on the S9 sometimes causes a little bug with SleepHead sessions...if you are using 0.9.3 version...that bug is fixed.

SleepyHead is reporting whatever time the S9 is reporting and if that isn't correct for where you live...you have to adjust the S9 clock to correct it.
Did you get any messages when you tried to change the clock on the S9 and it wouldn't work? If so, what message.

This morning I took the SD card out and tried to updated my info in SleepyHead on my computor. It would not update so I do not know what is going on with that, but I just went to get the info off the machine like you ask and now the blasted thing did accept the new time, so that problem is fixed. Machine was 3 hrs 12 minutes behind correct time.
I have version 0.9.3-0 of Sleepyhead and when I insert the SD card into my computer it will not update when I try to up data. Do I have to save the existing info to download more days only 30 days on card ?
Your the best- Pugsy-
Thank You

Not sure what you mean when you say SleepyHead will not update now...are you getting some sort of message that it won't/can't do something? As in when you attempt to download from the SD card it fails?
Changing the clock on the S9 shouldn't affect the ability to download the data unless for some reason SH thinks that there is now duplicate data trying to go into a new time frame and it won't do that.
or are you getting a message simply that there is no new data from last night but last night's calendar is bare? If so...try again but create a new location...maybe SH forgot where to look.

Also might try creating a new user profile in SH and then create a new location and essentially start fresh and see if you can get all the complete reports.

I locked the SD card when I put it into my computer so it would not pick up any data from my computer. I slid the little tab back over but I guess I did not push it far enough because when I put it back into the ResMed and I looked for last night's data it said no data from last night. So I missed 3 nights of data !! Live and learn. I will check it tomorrow and see what happens.
Thanks again

That's odd, I thought the S9 would "see" that the card was write protected and squawk at you.
SleepyHead needs all the data files that go on the machine each night to pull and calculate data for the reports.

ResScan doesn't but you only get summary usage...no detail graphs but you wouldn't have a big goose egg for those nights where the card wasn't written to. If you have ResScan..give it a try.
