OK, my GF Patty got her new S9 VPAP Adapt and we are having trouble reading the card. We have ResScan 3.14 loaded on both computers and it doesn't acknowledge the card.
Also, every morning the LED readout on the machine has shown a AHI of 0.0. I had that happen to my machine a couple of weeks ago and it was recommended that I unplug the machine a couple of minutes to let it reset. I did that and started getting morning readings again. I'm wondering if that is the problem here. I've done the above this morning so we'll see if that helps.
I went to the Resmed site and noticed that the latest version of ResScan is 4.3. There used to be a list of machines and versions of ResScan required for said machine. Anybody know if that is still around or if 3.14 is just out of date for her current machine? BTW, it works just fine for my ASV.
Thanks

ResScan question
Re: ResScan question
I suspect that the older 3.14 ResScan version is not compatible with the newest firmware in the newest S9 models.
Version 4.3 is the latest as far as I know. Check your PM box in a couple of minutes. I bet that it will work just fine with her machine...you can use it with yours also.
The only real difference I have seen with the newer versions...download is faster and that's kinda nice.
You can also try doing the unplug thing to reset the firmware on her machine to see if the AHI wants to move off of 0.0.
Sometimes the S9s get stuck reporting the same thing. Of course it is also possible to get lucky and have an AHI of 0.0.
It hurts nothing to reboot the S9 though.

Re: ResScan question
Thanks Pugsy, problem solved. Updated both machines and you are right, download time is WAY faster than old version. Thanks again.

Re: ResScan question
I have several bugs when I use ResScan 4.3 but not when I used 3.16 version. My machine was made in 2009.

Re: ResScan question
ResScan 4.3 seems to be a resource hog, especially crippling my sound card. Can't say why. Sound gets posterized, a little like when Neo takes the red pill. As soon as I quit ResScan 4.3, sound starts working properly again.

I would uninstall the software and then find the download online and reinstall it. Then restart your computer.DreamDiver wrote:ResScan 4.3 seems to be a resource hog, especially crippling my sound card. Can't say why. Re: ResScan question
Hello all, I am fairly new to the ResMed machine as well and would love to get a copy of the ResScan software so that I can view my results.
Thanks in advance.
