I an a newbie - since March. Is it normal to still feel like you are wearing the apparatus long after you have taken it off. Do you get used to it? It's just a funny feeling like I'm wearing glasses.

Are you tightening the straps so much that you have indentations in your face that take hours to go away? If so, loosen them!

It is normal for some of us. If it's not painful, and it's just a sense that you're still wearing it, it may be a psychological thing - sort of like when you can't get a song out of your head, like the Gilligans Island theme song, or Spongebob Squarepants. If it's not a painful thing, it's not numb, and it isn't distracting you, I'll bet it's probably something that will go away with time. Of course I'm not a doctor, so I'm just offering guesses. When I was wearing the Swift II nasal mask, I often felt that way during the day. The hybrid still does that sometimes when I wear it, but not for long. I have not noticed the sensation with full face masks. Wait - when I was wearing the ultra-mirage full face without a flannel forehead bridge cover, I used to feel like I had bolts stamped into my forehead for hours afterward. That was not a rewarding sensation, but it was not overly distracting.

It can happen; especially with my cell phone in my pants pocket.
I actually thought mine was ringing, and it was still on the nightstand.
