Cannot keep my tongue in place for

Does anyone else have a problem keeping their tongue in place? As soon as I fall asleep my tongue falls and I lose the seal in my throat and the air just blows out of my mouth...HELP...any suggestions on a mouthpiece to hold tongue in place???

Awhile back there was an oral device which pulled the tongue forward, using suction.
Side effects included a sore tongue, among other things.
The "appliance" resembled a torture device, and I can't imagine anyone sleeping with it.

Practice all day. If you're not eating or talking, your tongue should be up on the roof of your mouth. Iwas quite surprised that this worked in my case. Because of a genetic disorder I have low muscle tone and tended to rest with my mouth open, but now I can keep it closed with my tongue up there.

This worked for me too , really reduced my mouth breathing. You kind of develop a habit of keeping your tongue up there.
