Can I sell cpap supplies here?

Post by pivot » Thu Jun 06, 2013 8:24 pm

I have very mild sleep apnea and prescribed cpap. Was never able to fall asleep with it on, so my Dr. said it was OK to stop. Now I am left with items that i will never be able to use. I wanted to know if anyone on here was interested in purchase for a very good price any of the following:
ResMed H5i heated humidifier and heated hose-used at the most 5 hours
ResMed carrying case for cpap and supplies
Pilairo Mask-one size-worn for at the most 3 hours
F&P Eson Size Small-worn 2 hours
Unopened ResMed Slimline Tubing 36810

Please let me know...........
Thanks so much.

Most insurance companies will rent the machine until compliance is met or do a long term rental. Every thing else is purchased outright. So, the machine probably went back to the DME.

To Pivot, be aware that sleep apnea tends to get worse over the years, so it will be in your best interest to get a sleep study every couple years to make sure you don't get too bad. Most of us with severe sleep apnea didn't start that way. I wish I had started back when I was mild or moderate and didn't have the high blood pressure that I have now. I realize you have struggled with using a cpap machine, but in a few years, you may be ready to give it another try.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
