You COULD take your avatar along with a sheet of fabric down to your local screen-printing shop and they could actually pretty easily put that onto that sheet...

it'd prolly be cost prohibitive to get it screened, you could do it, but only if you wanna pay a premium for it.

OOPS!!!!!!!$$$!!!! Well, maybe I'll go the "alternative route": Xerox the Avatar onto transfer paper, Iron on to material, then paint the stoopid duck . too bad it's not bunnies - they could take care of it themselves! Yuk, yuk.

Wow! We LOVE to laugh.

I am just as guilty as anyone else-- I have read every post! But are we hard up for 'hose-head' fun, or what?

Anyway, just a thought from a former British exchange student about the Harry Potter idea:

Have you noticed that the different houses of Hogwarts students wear striped scarves? The traditional British school scarf is often a woven wool-type fabric with a stripe pattern unique to the school, using its colors. Check out the movies for more details.

---------------------------------

Maybe striping the hose covers would be easier than trying to iron fake photocopied images onto the polyester microfiber and then duct taping, etc. Although melting the fiber might be an interesting artistic endeavor. . . .

....sort of Maybe we need our own thread?

NEAT IDEA - THANKS! HMMM except for, maybe, the FUMES!!

I was 'tinkering' with the idea of adding fuzzy, boa material at the ends, but remembered what "flying fuzzies' would do to the system ptth!!

cat hair grey?....seems to be the basic "color" of my room
Sounds like my house, except that it needs to be orange dog/cat orange and maybe a little gray for the gray kitty. I have 2 orange cats, an orange Pomeranian, and my old "hood kitty" whose name is Grayson for obvious reasons, lol! I would also like to see bright colors, too. Maybe bright yellows, sunflowers, old 60's style flower power daisise for us old boomers!

Oh no! here comes my "Bad Kitty" now!

Hose Sleeve Color

Post by Offerocker » Thu Jun 01, 2006 3:54 am

OK - Purple has been added.
I had to resist the neon-orange, though!

I can get about any color anyone wants, just didn't want to buy out the store!!
it needs to be orange dog/cat orange and maybe a little gray for the gray kitty.
Also, maybe a "Crazy Quilt" would be appropriate for the mini -zoos some people have - that should take care of most animal hair, ....OR, Better yet, DUCK tape turned inside out! That will pick up the cat hair, and within a couple weeks, you'll have the perfect matching color !! - if the cat doesn't stick to it in the meantime, that is.

My mini zoo, with Bad Kitty Creamy in the lead, will be waiting to see how much hair they can inflict on one of your new designs. I hope that crazy quilt one is really crazy so the hair isn't quite so visible. You should see the solid royal blue one I have now....no, wait a minute, that's pretty graphic. You get the mental picture here, right???

If it lasts until noon, you'll be hearing from me!
...remember my NAME! They didn't give that to me for no reason

The school tie/scarf is a good one. UMII red and blue stripes. Hans Rudolph I think should be purple and green. Comfort Curve light blue and green. Or would you code it to the machine-Remstar auto w Cflex orange with red & yellow stripes

Then there are the family tartans? Clouds and stars on a blue background to induce sleep. Maybe the manufacturers would start putting out a line of fleece with their company logos on it.
