I take that back. I think there's a bug. . .it reports apnea events low and rera events high. I sent them an email to ask if they update firmware.

I seriously doubt that going to V3.03 will make a difference.

TS, there are a number of other reasons that could explain the discrepancy (the flows are different, the pressures are different, there may be an error floating around in the machine). What you really need to to is run the P Series Service Center Test to read the Error Log and check machine calibrations.

As presented by blakepro, Accurate did this for his machine after his upgrade (actually, it is required that this be done):

Good morning, Mollette, thank you - I think you're right. I'm not quite sure what to do about it at this point. Maybe send them both, one at a time (so that I can breathe) to have them both diagnosed to see what the problem might be.

Can you get a hold of a decent quality manometer? If all you're having is a bunch of RERAs, maybe M2 pressure is a little low.

I can probably do that. I've been looking around for one for a while - but I really don't know exactly what I'm looking for in the digital range. If you have the time, could you send me a link to one that would do the job that isn't overkill?

Well, it'd be cheaper to get a new machine than a digital manometer. I think one those little handheld flowtubes would be OK because you're doing a comparison.

Mollete, I was going to see my DME this morning to look at some masks - so I took this machine with me and asked her to test it for me on her manometer - she did so, and it came out 9.99 which is exactly what my other machine came out as. (My set pressure is 10 - straight cpap).

It will be a few days before I post these as I want to do a two day test on each machine using the same sealer, sleep time, etc. so that there's a good comparison. I'll start tomorrow night as I had a meeting tonight and I'm getting to bed later than I usually do.

Mollette, I am very uneducated in looking at wave forms - so if there is anything specific you want me to post? Looking at waveforms needs about a 60 second screen, like about:



but in magnifying that submitted RERA:



it ain't.

Also those OAs look more like CAs (post-arousal) to me (although 01:32:00 could be a sleep-onsety kind of thing).
