Glad you're still hanging in there. There's lots of posts on the SleepWeaver cause it starts out very comfortable and leaky. I've had 3 versions; the newer are less leaky.. make SURE it's the ADVANCED seal. It stays very comfortable, and I think with wear it seems to seal better. Hope this all works out for you. Aimee,
I think the advanced seal has been out about 4 or 6 months, so if you look over the packaging, it should clearly say it is. As another suggested, try it out; return it if it doesn't work for you.
I wear mine with the top fairly adjusted loose, so the nose can float and seal properly. The typical leak that is a challenge is an air stream that hits ya in the eye.
But the comfort is unbelievable. hope it works for you. earl

I think the élan takes patience. When I first tried it, I didn't think it would work for me and set it aside to send back. Ten one night I decided to try it one more time. I was more patient and got settled in with it and had a great night.

My suggestions: get the small cushion if you have a small face. I think many women need the small
Keep it clean and keep your face clean. I wash my cushion every other day with a bit of Tide Free and water. It won't hold a seal if its not clean or if your face has any lotion or oils.
Keep it tighter on top and loose enough on the bottom that you can pull the entire assemblage off without undoing the Velcro. It needs room to inflate.
Watch the video several times. Notice how the man in it adjusts the cushion y pulling kind of out and down on the little tab. Do that after you get settled into your pillow.

I'm a side sleeper and the élan works great for me. Yes, a little bit of air blows towards my eyes. I can't read with it on, but if I get into bed, adjust it and keep my eyes closed its great. If the air bothers you, you could consider a sleeping mask.

I don't remember who posted the tip to pull down the top right at the bridge of the nose so it sits more on the end of your nose. This tip really works at least for me and whoever posted the tip. It does take a little fiddling with when you first start using it but after that it is just easy as pie. At first I occasionally had to wear an eye mask to keep the air out of my eyes. I think any new mask takes a little time to adjust. Also for me after it has been washed a few times and softens it seals even better.
