Noise level of Machine

We are in Santiago, Chile, and each of the CPAP devices do not list the decible levels. We are not in a place where we can see them operate before purchasing. We are mo st interested in the Responic M series. Will it keep the other person awake with the noise?

It depends on the person the luck of the draw of the machine, but none should be unduely loud, that would defeat the perpose of trying to sleep.

I run a background noise, Nature sounds, that's all I hear, before that I ran a fan for noise. Jim

I have the M Plus and the unit itself is very quiet. I had more noise with my Swift Nasal before I switched to a Mirage Full Face Mask. Our Vornado fan on Low is louder then the machine with the Mirage mask. My wife sleeps better now that I am not snoring and likes the white noise the CPAP creates with the blower running.
