Looking for used full face mask to buy

Post by sleepio » Sun May 05, 2013 10:25 pm

I tried a mirage liberty, but was having trouble and traded for a nasal mask. I'd love to be able to use nasal pillows only but I'm convinced its impossible for me.

Does anyone have a ffm of minimal uge, probably size medium/large?

I can do PayPal.

Thanks!

Good evening Sleepio.

You may want to consider a FFM like I have listed below. I consider this one to be my main mask. It gives me the best of both worlds.
1) Pillows – Three sizes to try.*
2) Mouth Piece - Three sizes to try.* The air only touches your mouth and a little bit more.
The one thing that I really love about this mask pertains to the air touching your face. I was previously using a UMFFM** and had to stop using it because a lot of skin on my face was being touched by air, which my skin could not handle.

*For the mask parts that you do not use, you can refer to "The Great Pillow Exchange". Here you can trade out the mask parts you do not use.

**Ultra Mirage FFM

Thanks for the reply, Starlette.

I had the opportunity to trade for the Innomed mask with someone here, but for some reason I talked them out of it. It seems like that may work, along with some taping, perhaps.

I changed my topic title to reflect my desire for a used mask to get, from one of you folks here.

I recently purchased several F&P 431 masks from someone here. I paid $20-$25 for them.

Look at them on cpap.com and see if you think one of these might work for you.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION** The masks WERE exposed to smoking. I found I was able to clean/air them out and they were tolerable for me and my husband.

If one of these looks like what you might like and you're willing to do some extra cleaning/airing, I'd be happy to send you one.

Let me know, k?

I have a used ComfortFull2 FFM in size Medium you can have.
Headgear is way used...so I need to see if I can find another headgear because I don't know if this one is used beyond redemption. Free...just pay shipping which will be $5 - $10 ( I do PayPal) depending on the size of package. I don't have a padded envelope large enough for it and I don't know if I have a box that won't be too big.

If you want to try it..at least you could see if it is a possible workable mask with minimal cost and if you find you like it then maybe buy one that hasn't been used as much.

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/comfor ... dgear.html

Send me a PM if you are interested and I will go see if I can dig up a better headgear to go with it.
I am pretty sure the headgear is the standard Comfort Series headgear so I might have one on another mask I could rob.

The extra masks and supplies that people send me...I don't ask the history...so I don't know if it comes for smoking household or pet household. These are just masks and supplies that people donate to me to pass along for people who want to try something else or short on funds. So I don't get picky when someone donates something.
The ComfortFull2 is the only full face mask that I have right now. I never know what might be coming later.

Pugsy: Thanks for the offer. I just sized my face for the ComfortFull2 and I'm a large.

Madalot: If it comes with the bigger size cushions, I wouldn't mind trying the HC431, it would be much appreciated. I'll pm you, thanks!

It comes with S, M & L and I'll make sure all 3 are in the box. I've answered your PM with more specifics!!

I have a Medium Quattro (NOT FX) that you're welcome to. Just don't send me your Chiropractor's bill
When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

No problem.
I stuck it up to my face and thought "no way in hell".
Of course I have a small face so even the Medium was way to big. It liked sucked in my eyes, my nose and my mouth and a good part of my chin.

I tried the sizing guide and I might be a medium, or a large. I'm getting a mask from Madalot, but if that doesn't work out can I keep you in mind? Thanks for the offer!
