sleep mask?

Post by Iggyeagle » Fri May 03, 2013 2:52 pm

So far my experience with my BiPAP machine has been positive (after I got the right mask). But now I have a problem: I sleep in a room that can be completely darkened. But my summer cottage's bedroom, to which I will retreat soon, is very sunny in the early morning . I have always been able to deal with using a sleep mask. But now I have this BiPAP full face mask over which I cannot put my sleep mask. Has anyone out there come across this problem? More importantly, does anyone have a way to block out light while using the BiPAP mask?

Room darkening shades would be my choice.
Enough stuff on my face already.

Is there a room that gets the afternoon sun that you could sleep in?

Does anyone know of a sleep mask that can be used with a CPAP over the nose mask?

All of them will work with nasal pillows or a hybrid mask

I have the same issues on the weekends when I want to sleep in - sunlight will wake me up and I can't get back to sleep. When I was wearing a FFM... I used the Dreamweaver sleep mask I bought from Amazon. It works "okay" OVER the FFM (light still gets in), but you can also wear it UNDER the FFM and its awesome. Used it with a ComfortBlue and Mirage Quattro FFM. They are also super cheap too - $5. It has tons of reviews from CPAP users.
