Hello. New to CPAPTALK. Looking for a Full Face Mask

Post by markham91 » Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:50 pm

Hi everyone. I live in Canada and am looking for a full face mask, new or slightly used. I am just too much of a mouth breather and can't get through the night with my current nasal mask. Please let me know where the best place to purchase is or if anyone has any for sale on this site. I am a 6'5" so I am gueeesing I need a large or med/large.

Thanks in advance, eh!

Jay

I was looking at that site, however the Mirage Quattro FX was selling for around $180 plus shipping to Canada. Was hoping to find something less expensive I guess.

Did you see the listing under "Brand New-Mirage Quatro" just two or three lines below your posting?
They're asking $70 for brand new... unopened.

I just bought one from mcdover for $20 + $10 shipping in the continental U.S. He replied very quickly to my PM, and takes PayPal.

If in doubt about your size, check the sizing guides online for most masks.

It will cost mcdover more to ship to Canada...so don't expect same shipping price.

I have a full face mask of some sort in the care package someone sent me to donate to people.
Give me a bit to figure out which brand and model it is along with size.
It will be free and the only thing I ask is postage reimbursement if you can. Sending out masks to people adds up and my pockets aren't as deep as I would like. I do PayPal.
I will get back with you in a bit about what it is I have.
I only have one complete full face mask but I think I have a couple of shells and headgears that only need cushions which would save some money.

Oh, BTW....ResMed won't let cpap.com send any ResMed products out of the US. Even a lousy Swift FX nasal pillow.
So even if it was free...cpap.com can't send ResMed stuff to Canada.

Sears sells the respironics fitlife mask with headgear for $95 - it was just 60, a couple of months ago - no prescription necessary

I use it and really like it

I have one of these masks in a Medium...used...free except for postage...to Canada probably around $12 to $15 or so. Need to check on box size. It won't fit in a small box.
Only has one cushion though. Unknown status as to pets or smoking home. It was donated so I don't ask.

I have a Mirage Quattro (medium) that I have only tried a couple of times, never was able to wear it more than an hour or so because my DME fit me for the wrong size, I would need a small in that mask.

If you go to Resmed's website you can print up sizing templates so you can see exactly what size you would need. If a medium would fit you, PM me and we can figure out cost/shipping. It would be less expensive than cpap.com of course because it is slightly used, but barely.

I have an Ultra Mirage Comfort full 2 size medium, free but $10 shipping, and I'll pay the rest.
