Maybe, like myself, you have other conditions that also leave you tired with the apnea being the icing on the cake.

If the machine you have listed is the machine you actually are using, how does your doctor know your teatment is working right? The one listed gives no treatment data. I spent several months with the doctor guessing about my treatment. Slowed my progress.

I felt better after the first night (my AHI was 12 that first night... not bad but also not great... it eventually went down and plateaued at 5-8). I no longer had to drink 4-6 cups of coffee and take a 30-45 minute nap after lunch in order to stay awake and I also stopped dozing off behind the wheel of my car in afternoon rush hour traffic as I drove to work (along a busy highway and over a bridge no less), so I was no longer a threat to myself or the general public.

I don't attempt to deny that my compliance has waned of late (I was getting frustrated with my mask and the fit problems that come with it), but I've recently (i.e. yesterday) switched masks in an attempt to get a better and longer night's sleep... so far, so good. Hopefully this new mask will help me stay compliant and hopefully, with compliance, I can lose some weight.

Hang in there... you're on the right track!
