5th Day Improvement

Post by UKTony » Tue Apr 16, 2013 10:12 am

As you can see below... after getting used to the contraption; Adjusting the face mask to minimise leaks, readjusting to sleeping on my back, etc, etc I've seen significant improvements. If this continues for another week or two my brain might actually start working again!! Thanks everyone for your help over the last few days...

Wow....your leak line hardly fluctuated. Great job. It gets soooo much better and easier. I'm on Day 51

Looking good. Leak line is awesome good.

Be sure to talk to your doctor if the AHI stays up where it's at and the snores don't reduce. I think a tiny bit more pressure will fix those issues. No rush...give it some time. They may come down on their own.

Let's get your equipment in your profile corrected.
In the Equipment list drop down menu your machine to choose is this
PR System One 60 Series Pro CPAP machine....it's the last one in the PR System One grouping.

the humidifier is the
PR System One 60 series Heated tube humidifier with heated tube
if you are using the heated hose.

if not using the heated hose just choose the PR System One Heated Humidifier

If in doubt..the heated hose has one black end on it. Otherwise both ends are white or off white.

Thanks Pugsy, I have the right equipment in there now, but the machine doesn't show for some reason, never has since I first tried putting a machine in there

Yeah.. the blip was an itchy nose that I couldn't "think away", I suspect some of the other unscheduled awakenings shown there were from the same itch.. .it bothered me several times last night and just wouldn't go away, in the end I had to stick my finger under the mask. My wife got her first full nights sleep in ages with me in the bed.

To be clear, on the few occasions that I have slept properly (BC - Before CPAP), she said I scare her, because I don't move, I literally sleep like a log, and she checks on me to see if I'm still breathing, but that wasn't very often... normally the entire neighbourhood knows I'm asleep!!

I was so bad snoring (AHI OF 131) that me and the wifey no longer slept on the same FLOOR of the house. Now she has to check to see if I'm in bed I'm so quite now.

Well...I guess the equipment link is broken to your choice of equipment...I didn't think that one was one of the casualties but I guess it is.
Just manually type it in the comments section like I have mine and that will be fine.
No big deal.
The reason we like to have it easy to see is that it helps us maybe answer a question better and quicker instead of having to ask "which machine do you use?" and then wait for an answer.
