Is there anyone that has ordered equipment from easybreathe.com are they a reputable firm. I am new and want to order a machine and a mask that is easy to take on and off because I get up several times a night to visit the BR

I went to easybreathe to check them out.
Looks like they will file insurance as I see a long list of who they work with.

I have never heard of them...so to answer OP question...I haven't ever heard anything about them...good or bad.
Most of us here on the forum either have brick and mortar DMEs who will file insurance or we buy from cpap.com.

I think the vast majority of the members of this forum purchase equipment and supplies from CPAP(dot)COM, the provider of this forum.

I've never heard of the one you mentioned and I won't bother to check them out. It's not out of the realm of possibility that you're spamming for them. That's happened quite frequently here over the years. It's always suspicious when a new member on their first post seems to be pushing (mentioning) some website that sells CPAP stuff.

I wondered about that also but checked anyway.
Since it looks like they file insurance and people don't have to pay up front...it might be a good source for someone wanting or needing to use insurance because they don't have the cash in their pocketbook for a big purchase.

I have no idea what requirements would need to be provided to satisfy insurance...like for purchasing a machine.
I know that there are a few other online sellers who will also file insurance...we see them advertised on TV.

So even if spam...there might be a place and use for this online seller in regards to filing insurance.
Their prices for out of pocket not filing insurance are a lot higher than cpap.com for masks...from the few I glanced at.

That's the way any of the online sellers do if they file your insurance in lieu of payment.

How does a DME file of insurance if they r only an internet DME.

If you do not have insurance, and need the best deal. Many here have high opinions of cpap.com, Mcdover (a poster here who runs a DME) and, http://www.secondwindcpap.com/

Be very careful about buying off craigs list, as scammers not only do not know what they are selling, and some of that stuff has been used for quite awhile (high hour.)

Have you had a Sleep Study? Have you had the second Titration Study (which might be in the same night) which determines what your machine should be set too?

I make my purchases from our host too and like the way they do business. And they're quick. Cpap.com seems to deliver in 2 or 3 days even if you select free shipping. They do not, however, process insurance for you at this time. I hope they will consider expanding their operations to cover insurance. I'm sure it would boost their business volume and make us love them even more.

Following up on other posts below, I did some looking at easybreathe.com this evening. I haven't looked much at their website as yet, but this is the first online supplier of xpap stuff that actually does do insurance per a chat discussion I had with their staff and manager about an hour or so ago. I saved the transcript that explores other details and will post it in a separate thread re. insurance.

I primarily use an internet/mail order DME, Nationwide Medical. I also buy stuff from cpap.com when I want something out of pocket. Nationwide files insurance & they got my name originally from a local DME who was going out of business & sold their database to Nationwide. I've had no real complaints about Nationwide except that they sent me a machine without getting my drs consent about the brand/type of machine (originally they send an ICON). Once they were told by my dr how HE felt about it, they replaced it with the correct machine (I got the PR S1 560), so both dr & I were happy.

Pros & Cons - you need to evaluate what works best for you. I feel if you are new to PAP therapy you need a local DME. I've been on CPAP 13 yrs, so know pretty much what I needed. I had leak & mouth breathing issues & Nationwide sent me each mask I asked for. Since I've found the mask that is working best for me, they will send it on my supply schedule. For my hubby, I want him to stick with local DME for now, once he is sure the Amara is what he really wants (and I think it is), he will probably switch too.

Only you know if mail order is what you want, if you want mail order that files insurance, know that Nationwide does not have much on the website, but once I find elsewhere what I want, I ask them & they usually have all the latest stuff. They've never told me no on a mask yet. If you are not using insurance, cpap.com is the way to go.
