I also drink tea at all times, but if tea is not around, I am contented on coffee. But I only drink at the morning, I really avoid them during afternoon especially in the evening, I only consider taking some sip if I have something to do.SnorkelPuss wrote:I drink tea. Are you still not getting 8 hours of sleep at night? No. I seem to FEEL better if I get 6 to 6.5 (sleep between 11:30/12:00 - up at 6:15/6:30). We just came off spring break where I was sleeping a little later and I felt terrible. The last three days (Friday - Saturday) I was praying for a virus because if I was going to feel that bad on a regular basis, death would have been welcomed. On the days I get more sleep (either to sleep earlier or get up later), I still fall asleep in the afternoon.
I seem to get more usable hours in the morning if I stick to the sleep schedule (or that amount of sleep even if it's a bit later to sleep/rise.)

For those CPAP users who suffer from Depression, type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease, and the presence of higher ESS score and LOWER RDI on initial assessment, it seems to me that there is no cure for daytime sleepiness, despite adequate use of CPAP therapy, unless you try to improve those underlying medical conditions and see if it helps.
