How do I get my name in as the Author?

I am trying to figure out how to get my name listed under the Author when I do a post.

I signed up and I did a post yesterday and when I put my Username in the box above and then tried to send my post, I got an error message that said "Sorry that name has already been taken".

I don't want to cotinually sign in as a Guest now that I am signed up. Can somebody tell me how to get my name in as the Author?

Guest, you will need to go up at the top of the page where it says "LOG IN" and Log in!! It's quite simple really!!

And once you sign in, let us know who you are.......

My bad..... Try using a different name (add a number or something to it) then it won't be in use already.

I think you were right the first time. When you try to post without logging in, it lets you enter a name, but if you've reserved that name, then it won't let you post under it (so a guest can't go in and forge a post from a registered user, for example).

So my guess is that *HE* (or she) is the one who "already registered" the name, and if they just login first and THEN post, all will be well.

Liam, or someone else who's forging a post under his name.

I am having a problem signing in. when I give my information, I continue to get a message saying e-mail doesn't match username. It is the same information when I first signed up. I even used other usernames I use with the same message. I have also checked to make sure my caps were off. Thank You
