If I was twenty years younger and had good health, Id move to France and join the French Foreign Legion. Now, Im too old at 44 to move with my health conditions.

Switzerland looks like a nice place to live, but it is really hard to move there. I dont want to be here when the Waffen DHS takes over if the Democrats take the House in 2014 and the Dems shove all their leftist agenda down our throats.

I will probably be stuck here, unfortunately.

I can't believe I didn't realize this until just now, but I never had sleep apnea until Obama came into office.

So, along with socialism, pandering to muslims, and all the other stuff on the never ending list of things Obama is responsible for, (according to tools like the original poster) add my sleep apnea.

And Obama is also responsible for my not being to stay asleep on my apap machine and for my rotten luck with sleep doctors to date. He is also responsible for my condo looking like bleep and for the snow storm that has caused me to be home today.

Since I have had sleep apnea at least since my teens, I blame Tricky Dick Nixon for that. But maybe I can blame Obama for causing a worsening of the severity. I mean, I can't let the President feel left out regarding blame for my condition.

I have never, ever, in my entire life, ever lived off of the United States taxpayer. I receive no disability of any kind, no welfare check of any kind.

I believe people should be as self reliant as possible and still believe in individual freedom and individualism. I dont believe in all this collective crap that obama spouts. And I sure as heck dont believe in wealth redistribution. That is another word for stealing from those who have, to give to those who dont and refuse to work.

Got tons of health problems? I will go out on a limb and say that probably 50% of chronic 21st century health problems are rooted in obesity. Lose the weight, take responsibility for yourself. You are ultimately responsible FOR YOU. Dont like that message? Well, thats typical of the current "Im entitled to it" attitude among so many Americans these days. You are not entitled to jack sh*t.

I shall be a member of no teabag organization. Im a registered independent and believe in old fashioned self responsibility. I believe we contribute to our own problems and then blame others a lot these days. Self responsibility is a concept alien to many modern day Americans. Its "Im entitled to it" these days. "Give me free stuff, Im entitled to it."

The thing is, aint nothing "free." Somebody has to pay for that "free" stuff.

Yeah, but the FFL is semi-autonomous. They swear allegiance only to the Legion. Not to France. Im just talking out of a** right now keep in mind. As far as my wanting to "get stuff done before obamacare kicks in," thats not feeling entitled to anything. I have private health insurance and its a dog eat dog world out there. I also pay for some of this stuff myself. I could give a flying rats ass about my insurance company's financial health.

The main cause of obesity is not some weird hocus pocus hidden medical issue. The main cause of obesity in the West is people are pigs and they eat way too much and they exercise way too little. Its calories in and those calories do not get burned off. So you turn into a blimp. Solution? Eat less, exercise more (and treat your sleep apnea if you have OSA).

I agree that obesity can be linked to a lot of health issues. But if you're really serious (and you may not be) in your comment, you do realize that many (if not most) people who get this surgery eventually gain all or or most of their weight back. Even personally, I know several people who have had it done and they all gained the weight back. The stomach eventually stretches back out, apparently.
