I am SOOOO going over old ground! I've read old threads, and its obvious that sleepyhead in its present form is not compatible with my series 60. I am also technologically challenged.... you guys are way ahead of me with patches etc.

The place that sold me my machine a couple of weeks ago very happily loaded a stick with encore basic. However its 'their' copy..... it asks for patient name, and then says that the software cannot read it, because the name does not match the data on my card.

very possibly there is a simple answer to this. If anyone would like to give it to me, I will be in their debt forever......

Download it anyway. Who cares if it don't match. You know its you. You can edit demographics later.

My lovely significant other, who does not have sleep apneoa, woke from a nap, and my frustrated unprintable *expletive deleted* comments moved him so much that he made the sleepyhead XXXXX software WORK. On HIS computer. 'I can do it when people don't stand over me....all it took was to replace the exe.... blah blah'

So all I need to do is have him put it on MY computer, then decipher the graphs.

I promise not to bore everyone too much with this, honest. I just want to KNOW!!!

thanks for your post ... it did matter, because it wouldn't read the data, not having a 'patient' of that name.... whatever. Hubby got sleepyhead to work.

OK, so just hit the Download button, and it will:



Although it appears to be unassigned, if you have entered your demographics, it will be, and if not, you can then edit the information.

You can also assign the card to a patient. I forget the exact steps, though.

The Encore is a sad story. when figuring out the sleepyhead, my hubby accidentally erased it from the stick. He could not restore it, so now..... I do not have this software. damn.

However on the brighter side, I am working sleepyhead ok, but the graphs are messy - text not clear. No idea why, driving me crazy. Program works clearly on HIS computer, not on mine.
