For newbies who might be wondering what this machine is.

This machine is probably the most base model...M series model DS100
No exhale relief and no data beyond hours of use.

https://www.cpap.com/cpap-machine/Respi ... chine.html

M Series machines were released in 2005 or 2006 I think and discontinued late 2009 and early 2010.
My first machine was the M Series APAP with CFlex and it was made in 2007.

I would suggest you donate it to someone that has no insurance, you will not get anything for it dollar wise. I have an M series AUTO that I paid $60 for from another member here. An M series plain jane no data machine is worth $00.00.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I agree with Nan, donation to a person with no insurance could make a world of difference to them, but you probably won't get any $$$ from it. I had a similar M series machine, & can't tell you how much trouble it caused as it got older. They are made to last around 2-3 yrs, I had mine 5 yrs, but it sported a lot of electrical tape & duct tape towards the end. Of course you may still want to try to sell, but I agree with Nan on this.

As LSAT would say, ... "how about you two donate your own machines instead of somebody elses?"
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Someone looking on craigslist may buy it...won't be anyone here on the forum at the asking price. We are tightwad data junkies.
It would make a good backup machine though for someone who just needed a basic cpap machine and didn't care about the other stuff.
If the mask has been opened to the air and is a few years old...it won't carry any value at all.
Used masks aren't worth much and opened to the air makes it used even if it wasn't.
Secondwindcpap.com has the same used DS100 machine (no humidifier or anything else) for $150.

While most of us here on this forum wouldn't be interested in this model machine...there are people out there that this would be better than no machine. It will still deliver effective therapy. Not everyone has the need for data and not everyone has the money to upgrade to a "better" machine. Life happens sometimes.

On another post I put up someone said I should upgrade to the M series from the Plus, but I would be wary of doing that now, based on the input on this thread. Also, don't like the humidifier chamber. I need to get back something for it as I have no medical insurance and buy cheaply priced machines. I purchased it used but used it only once because I really need exhale relief.

OK reduced price to $100. I know, still too high for you guys.

Actually the DS100 is the M series and that is what your picture shows.
M Series is a broad model line with various models within that classification.
The Plus model might be the DS100 or DS200 with the main difference being the DS200 has CFlex exhale relief.
Neither offers any useful data to evaluate if there was a need.

To upgrade from this DS100 machine you could stay within the M series models and get a full data machine.
You would need model #400 or above I think it is in the M series to gather efficacy data.

The most recent model line after the M series was discontinued in 2009 is the PR System One model line.
Again...lots of models in that line including one that does pretty much what your machine does...blow air and that's it.

If you can't use this machine...are you trying to find a different machine? What kind of problems are you having? Machine, mask???

While having data makes things easier to evaluate in the event of a problem...there are ways to try to limit problems without data if we have to. If you want help in maybe using this machine (or any other) because this therapy is difficult for you...lots of people here willing to offer to help. Most of them would rather try to talk you into using the machine if you were planning on quitting.
No, this therapy isn't a walk in the park...sometimes it takes a lot of work.

This would be a great backup machine for someone who can get by without cflex/aflex. My experience also is that the M Series machines make great travel machines.

The two biggest downsides for this machine are that it is a little noisier than current-market blowers and you absolutely must empty the humidifier before moving the machine.

A hundred bucks for a very low hour cpap for these uses seems reasonable to me.
I'm workin' on it.
