Hi again jewels. With resmed machines you can download either sleepyhead or rescan. Sleepyhead works with both respironics and resmed units while rescan is solely for resmed. Pugsy has the links in her signature or they both can be found on google

SleepyHead was designed by a forum member...I have links for it in my signature line. Be sure to read the User Guide first.

ResScan is the software designed by Resmed. Check out Uncle Bob's signature here

Pretty much the same data is shown but visually different. Each has some pros and cons.
I usually suggest that people try both to see if they have a preference.

If you are using a Mac...get SleepyHead because it has a Mac version. ResScan is strictly Windows based software and to use it on a Mac you need virtual Windows environment for it.

Sleephead only works with downloaded detail data.
Rescan will give you the day-by-day graphs from the summary data, and detail graphs from the detail data (if you saved it).

For what it's worth I use both .... ResScan AND Sleepyhead ....

I think they both offer advantages .... no reason why you have to use only one .... once the card is in the reader it takes like 10 seconds more to load it into a 2nd program.
