Does XPAP use cause ???

Post by Goofproof » Wed Feb 20, 2013 2:55 am

Is there anything medical or social, economic, that cant be blamed of XPAP treatment. From the posts here the answer would have to be no.

If a post on the Internet, falls on a computer screen and no-one reads it, does it cause a response. What do you think. Jim

Jim,

LOL as you have lost me.

On a related note, depression is linked to all conditions known to human kind. If you have a hang nail, it is because of the condition. You had better run to your nearest psychiatrist for the lastest, greatest antidepressant.

Ok, on the hope that I am answering your question, if my cpap treatment was going well, I would certainly be doing better generally in life. It hasn't been from lack of trying so no lectures please on my attitude

Now that I have totally messed up my response:), I will quit.

Well,Jim....I can relate to this. Before XPAP I I hadn't had a flat tire in over 20 years. Since XPAP I have had 2 in 3 years.

Yes Goofproof.

Something else I have noticed when you are having a problem and ask a question. You think you have sleep apnea and are trying to use CPAP.

Quickly come about 10 posts saying you probably have an additional disease or condition. Usually it is some condition the one making the post has. All 10 of them think you must have what they have. You better go to the doctor now!

This was unnerving at first but now I am learning to ignore it.

But I have found the forum very helpful. 9 or 10 on a scale of 1-10.

I prefer mayoclinic dot com. Very well organized and very reasonable. No alarmism.

Simple to use and all sections are arranged the same:

Definition
Symptoms
Causes
Risk factors
Complications
Preparing for your appointment
Tests and diagnosis
Treatments and drugs
Lifestyle and home remedies
Alternative medicine

I get it...the sarcasm.. Almost every day I see a question that I have to roll my eyes a bit when I read it.

It could contribute to male-pattern baldness, if therapy raises testosterone levels.
However, if baldness is friction related due to improvement of ED , either way, not a bad trade-off.

As I was entering my car for lunch just now, I spotted a giant nail in my rear tire. The curse of cpap strikes again. Luckily I paid for the tire insurance.
