Burt's Bees
Burt's Bees
I'm a long time user of this stuff for chapped lips. I love everything about it even the way it smells. I'm sure most of you have experienced a chapped or chafed nose since you've started therapy and I'm currently there. So I'm thinking, can I use Burt's Bees on my nose at night? Is it mask friendly? It doesn't have petroleum in it, but I'm not sure about the other ingredients.

Re: Burt's Bees
I think the peppermint oil might irritate any sore areas, or might not be good near the eyes.
I actually prefer 100% free range chicken poop lip junk, as it's more soothing,
but I would stick with pure Lansinoh on my nose, touching a silicone mask.

I've used it before, the peppermint is not any worse than using a product with menthol in it.

I love their products too, I use a chap stick they have that has no peppermint just honey scent or flavor... I have used it on my nose around the outside with no problems, but I don't know if it has any affect on the mask,my mask at that time did not contact the area I applied it to.

I've used the original Burt's Bees on my nose for years when it gets chapped.

Re: Burt's Bees
I use a generous slathering of the peppermint one on my lips at bed time, it is a little stickier than most other lip balms and I think it helps me avoid mouth breathing.

Re: Burt's Bees
I really like the "chicken poop"; it has a dash of lavender oil in it, which smells heavenly.
And they state that it "contains no chicken poop"
