Quattro FX Headgear sizes

Post by grillhead » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:54 pm

I have switched from the Mirage FX to the Quattro FX. I currently have a medium sized headgear, but the mask rides up my nose, and I hardly have any adjustment in the straps. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the medium and large size Quattro FX headgear? Thanks!

the size of the headgear wouldn't change how it hooks to and comes of the mask. it's just longer straps as far as i know. we have s, m, L, and medium for her. they all have medium headgear.

Right, that's what I'm trying to find out, how much longer are the straps, including the one that goes across the top of the head. That's the main one that is making the mask ride up my face.

I use the Mirage Activa LT nasal mask(just got this one a week & a half ago), and was having that issue. I would wake up with the mask practically pressing into my eyeballs. I tightened the straps on the bottom and haven't had the problem anymore.

Try an email to cpap.com and see if they can answer that. I only have the small and medium, so I have no idea the size of the large.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

I don't have info on the sizing on the medium Quattro Fx headgear, but the measurements on the large headgear are:

Left / Top Strap - 116.28mm
Top of Head Strap - 211mm
Right / Top Strap - 116.28
Left / Bottom Strap (to center back of head) - 330mm, same with Right / Bottom, so the total of the bottom head strap is 660mm

(measurements provided by manuf. rep.)

Awesome, thanks so much! I'll measure my medium and compare.
