AHI number

Post by mjmoll » Thu Jan 31, 2013 9:02 pm

I was wondering if you could tell me if the AHI number is per hour or per night? Thanks. I was pretty glad to see that my number was 2.6 last night after a week on cpap.

AHI is a per hour average overall for the night.

Total number of events divided by the number of hours on the machine gives an hourly index or average.

Thanks so much Pugsy! I got brave enough to check me machine today. I hope looking at it didn't erase the data.
