My husband I use the same mask, so wash day becomes an issue. We use a red sharpie to put a mark on hubby's mask (hard plastic), valve & hose. He uses a different sized seal so those I can tell apart without marking. We let the marks dry thoroughly before they are put into the water and I'm careful not to scrub on the mark itself.

Since we wash everything weekly, we check and re-mark his items as necessary. We haven't had any problems doing it this way.

So far I've been able to tell it's a mask without labelling it!
