Hello,
They dropped my pressure from 11 to 10 the other day because of air getting into my tummy
Well, I have noticed a significant decrease in air in the tummy.
I have noticed a "slight" increase in AHI numbers.
But it's really hard to tell. Sometimes my AHI at 10 are just as good as they are on 11. Othertimes they are just as bad.
Last night I baught one of those finger read pulse / oxygen moniter things from walgreens.
Wore it while sleeping. Most the time my Blood Oxygen Saturation was arround 97-98 with a pulse of arround 60 - 70. A few times my
pulse would spike to 100 then go back down. I would guess that was a dream.
I looked at my data for the locations of the AHI/VS flags.
Scanning through the data at some points the Oxygen Saturation drops to 93 or so. Pulse stays about the same.
At one point, which closely but not exactly (clock variation maybe) lines up with one of my OA flags on the data
shows that my Oxygen Saturation droped to 90. How bad is 90?
When I'm awake I can barly stand holding my breath long enough to get the thing to register a drop at all.

Re: Blood Oxygen Saturation Levels
Further looking at my finger moniter data shows that my oxygen leve feel to 82 and 83 for a minute or so. Maybe 30 seconds. The readback screen sucks on this thing If I look at the data close enough to copy it down it times out and it scrolls 1 page at a time from over 1000 pages.

Re: Blood Oxygen Saturation Levels
Hi,
Is there any way to import data from that device into your PC for analysis & reporting? Since you are typically in the high 90s, dropping down below 92 is an indicator that something is less than optimal with your treatment. Below 88 is concerning. Down in the lower 80s means that you probably need some tweaking.
I ran into issues ingesting air about a year ago. If my pressure got above 15, I'd swallow air. But if it got below 16, I'd wake up feeling like a zombie. I had to pick the lessor of the two evils. Losing weight caused the issue, and losing yet more weight solved it. If you have any extra pounds, perhaps trying to shed a bit and working on upper body and core strength might help out. Another thing that might help is going to a BiPAP machine. While your pressure level is lower than what is normally considered to be BiPAP territory, perhaps the split pressure levels would allow you to run higher pressures on inhale, yet back down on the exhale to help keep the pressure levels below where you have issues with ingesting air.
