nose bridge rubbing relief
nose bridge rubbing relief
My fullmask rubbed my nose bridge raw enough to scab up. I tried a bandaid, and that seemed to make things worse. Not only leaks, but the mask would somehow tilt and really dig into the nose bridge after I fell asleep. I switched to the cloth tape meant for cotton pads, and that is a lot better. It protects the bridge, and gives a smooth surface for the mask.

You can also try Moleskin found in the Dr Scholls area of your pharmacy or go to padacheek.com and invest in a nose pad.

Re: nose bridge rubbing relief
I tried for months to find a nasal mask that would not give the bridge if my nose bleeding ulcers. Lots of mask were tried but my previously broken nose was not happy with any of them. I now successfully use Swift FX nasal pillows. I'm not trying to change your game plan, but if all else fails give nasal pillows a try... there's lots of different models these days to choose from. Final note: If your are a mouth breather you'll also need to explore chinstraps etc.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: nose bridge rubbing relief
I use a small drop of antibacterial cream covered with some silken medical tape. The tape is thin enough that it does not seem to affect my mask seal, and the cream helps with both healing and as a lubricant to prevent further irritation. Your mileage may vary, but it has worked for me.

Re: nose bridge rubbing relief
I was having nose bridge pain, plus pain and irritation on my nose, forehead, and under my nose from my nasal mask. I recently purchased the mask liner from Padacheeks and it has worked wonders for me!
