OSA and a Holter Moniter

Having OSA and centrals will that have any affect while wearing a Holter monitor? I'm just curious and yes I did inform the tech I have sleep apnea and I also wrote it on my Patient Diary. I'm guessing any untreated would show up but if treatment is going good I wouldnt think it would show. Well you people are a lot smarter then me so I'm leaving it in your hands.

The Holter will pick up any irregular, defibrillations, etc. that might be caused or aggravated by apnea. A lot of people every day wear Holters but don't (yet) know they have OSA and I imagine lots of them are then advised to get a sleep study.

To eliminate the possibility that I have cardiac problems my internist gave me a Holter Monitor that I wore for 24 hours. Then the inside tape was sent for reading and analysis. I got a copy of about 10 pages of recorded data. There was nothing wrong. No heart problems! Medicare paid for the rental and the analysis.

There should not be any interaction between the XPAP operation and the Holter Monitor. Actually, it was my request to do it b/c any time that I saw Central Apneas in my data I was worried that it was connected to a malfunctioning of my heart .
