According to they very definitely non-trivial number of users who have posted here over the years, there are lot of xPAP users who want to do it, as some sort of perceived right.

I do know that in Australia, CPAP supplies (as distinct from initial equipment purchase) makes up a MUCH MUCH smaller proportion of total xPAP business than it does in the US. In Australia medical insurance generally does not cover xPAP supplies, so everyone pretty much pays out-of-pocket and so only buys the xPAP supplies that they truly need
