What time do you go to bed?
What time do you go to bed?
And when do you wake?
I aim to have lights out by 11pm and wake at 7am. On Saturdays I try and sleep longer. So that's approx eight hours.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
Before CPAP --
Bed time = 10PM
Weekday wake time = alamr went off 4:55AM.
Weekend wake time = 7-8AM with 1-2 naps a day on weekends. I have to be at work by 6:30AM
Started Bi-level CPAP in September--
Bed time = 10PM
Wake time = 4:30 -5AM every day, no alarm needed. I'm wide awake!
I have not felt the need for a nap since I started.

Why do you care when I go to bed...as long as you get 7-8 hrs sleep..it doesn't matter. (I happen to average 6-7 hrs)

Re: What time do you go to bed?
It's interesting to see the sleep/wake times of other hoseheads.
I usually go to bed around 11pm and it takes me no more than 15 minutes to fall asleep, if my sleep isn't fragmented. I usually get 7-8 hrs of sleep, waking up at 7:30ish.

Whenever, (usually 10:30-11:30, maybe later); I still have to be up by 6:30 M-F to get to work.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
In bed at 5 A.M., up at 1 P.M., bad for a sleep program, but it suits my needs. I'm one the Puter until 4 A.M., take meds have a snack, unwind then bed.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
Not a hose head here....
(sleep study 2 weeks ago, IMO odds R I won't be)
I waken frequently about every 90-150 minutes, no matter what time I hit the sack. I sleep (oxymoronic term) about 4- 5hrs at a time usually with a couple awakenings during that time. Last nite was a weird one, I woke up, thought it was morning, then looked at my clock...oops I musta grabbed only about 20 minutes of shut eye, so back to sleep.
Anywho... I usually go to bed around midnite or so and up by 5:30 M-F. I also usually take a morning nap and fall asleep watching the evening news. Does not do my any good to go to bed earlier.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
I go to bed at around 9pm, read for 30-45 minutes, fall asleep & don't move until alarm goes off. Getting up varies, if I don't have drs appt that I have to get up for, my body wakes around 10am. If I have early drs appt 8am-10am, I need about 2 hrs to get ready, so I set 3 alarms to get up in time for appt (usually 6am-8am). I am not a morning person. I used to not fall asleep until around 11, but age seems to have changed that.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
A sleep doctor's politically correct answer might be: "The same time every night". My answer is: "When I'm sleepy - or when it's convenient". Therefore it varies night to night, but not by more than a couple of hours.
Sometimes, on certain nights, it's fun to stay up late while finishing a book or to simply hang out with friends... I don't like to make a lot of preset rules for myself. I also don't have to show up every morning for a job, so that's a luxury I've earned over the last forty years as a working stiff!
It's a good question tho and the answers are fascinating.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: What time do you go to bed?
I usually go to bed around 3 a.m. and get up around between 9 and 10 a.m. I have always been a night owl but couldn't indulge in the habit until I retired.

In bed by 10:30. Read for a hour. Lights out. Seem to lie there for an hour.
Up at 7 am. Walk the dog (very short walk (shuffle) in the dark now, in the summer I get up earlier and we jog for 1/2 hour)

Re: What time do you go to bed?
Most nights, I go to bed between 4 and 6am.
Work days, I get up at 1:09pm after 3 snoozes to convert me to awake mode. I have noticed more recently that I am awake most of the last snooze time.
On days off, I usually get up between 2 and 4pm if I have nowhere to be. Otherwise, I am up early to do whatever I have to do.
When I have a cat show weekend, my schedule goes bonkers. I barely get any sleep Thursday night (usually less than 3 hours, sometimes none), up early Friday. Nap friday afternoon. Up late Friday night, up very early saturday. Up late saturday night and up even earlier sunday morning. Home late Sunday, Sometimes early to bed, sometimes not. Sleep VERY late (usually 5pm or so) on monday. Then back to normal again. I always request off the day after the show so that I can catch up on sleep.
I do NOT drive, so that is not an issue. I have a phobia of driving, so I don't even have a license.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
Re: What time do you go to bed?
I know this is NOT good sleep hygiene, but being disabled sometimes forces you to do things that go against typical rules.
I tend to "go back" to the bedroom around 9 or so and lay in bed watching TV, playing Words with Friends or reading. I'm usually running out of steam by then and need to get where I'm going to be for the night. And my husband prefers that I be "settled" when he goes to sleep since he doesn't like me up moving around that late in the day.
I usually go to sleep around 11:30 - 12:00. Sometimes a little later, sometimes a little earlier if I am falling asleep. School days, I get up at 6:30 with my son. Non school days, I usually sleep until around 8 or so, but again, sometimes I get up earlier, sometimes I sleep a little later.

Re: What time do you go to bed?
Unless I am watching something ineresting (to me) on TV, I am in bed by 11 pm. I am asleep within minutes (with wave background noise). I awake once (usually) in the night for a bathroom trip. I wake (without an alarm) at around 6 am. I usually nap for about an hour in the afternoon.
