Please explain the panyhose/mantyhose thing

Post by thenapper » Sun Apr 30, 2006 9:05 am

I have done a search and get about 100 topics to read through, can't seem to find the original post.
Is is used for a chin strap?

Thanks

Pantyhose...

No, it's used to secure the hose of an Aura or Breeze in place overnite. It goes around your eyebrows and ties at the back, but regular tights (not hose) are supposed to be better and softer.

Thenapper,

I am laughing so hard. Thank you. "Pantyhose" to was changed "mantyhose" in the hopes that some of the male users wouldn't feel so funny about using pantythose as a fix to help secure some masks since it is such a feminine article. So by changing the P to an M, we hoped they'd use the fix. M-Man-man-tyhose.

I love your subject line of the thread and it really made me laugh. Thanks again.

Reminds me of the movie where Mel Gibson was trying on pantyhose in order to better understand the products he was trying to sell.

I'd rather put on pantyhose than have to tie a tie. Good thing I'm female.

Manty-Panty-Tighty-Hose THANG!

Post by Snoozin' Bluezzz » Wed May 03, 2006 8:01 am

OK, this man is about ready to try the the manty-panty-hose or tights thing.

If I was to go into a store (what kind of store by the way?) what is the very best thing I should look, or ask, for? Tights v. hose????? What does that mean?

Help me out here women (or men if you wish to pipe up).

SB

SB,

It doesn't matter to me, although others may disagree, what type of pantyhose I use for this purpose. Pick your favorite color (I know, black or navy...) and then just cut one of the legs from it. It will work. I have never used anything other than normal pantyhose (no need for control top-LOL). Maybe go to CVS and buy their brand since it's less expensive, or you can visit a dollar store and buy theirs. The only reason I'd spend more on pantyhose would be so that maybe I'd stand a chance of wearing them more than once without them running. But if you're wearing them across your masks, then runs don't make a difference. So spend as little as you can.

I'm impressed by a man who's not afraid to use a pantyhose leg for fear it may immasculate him. Hope it works for you. It should.
