Welcome Nuany! You'll probably learn all you need to know at this sight, providing you put the effort into it. Check out the tabs at the top on what a newbie should know. Know that finding a mask that is comfortable and doesn't leak is the key to success and can also be your biggest challenge. Work all your issues here.

Hope you the best... Sheriff

WELCOME to the forum NuanyParPautt. I'm a newbie, too -- just completed my first month on BiPAP. This group is very supportive, extremely informative and somewhat addictive. Enjoy your time here -- you'll surely make friends. As someone said to me -- now, you're a true hosehead.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this person is a "drive by" spammer and won't be back.
I will be surprised if there are any real cpap questions.

almost verbatim; very general, referring to the site, 'information', etc., but not a WORD about CPAP!
The usual dirtbags!

Yeah.
If I had seen it before someone else had responded....it would have been removed.
Might as well let this show the newbies that this stuff happens and we normally remove it before anyone can respond.
So I will give the usual newbie speech about spam like this. Don't respond because it locks it into the archives.
Best to leave it alone if you don't have the spam removal button yet ( 90 days membership is required) and someone will come along and remove it.

Carolyn and her team have been working on adding more filters to block the automated stuff but sometimes a real person will go through the hoops anyway and post there garbage.

Sheriff; don't apologize for being a sweet, kind, trustful guy.
Your impulses are noble.
