There have been some reports that Macs may write something on the SD card just because you put it into the machine. You don't even have to start SleepyHead, it's the Mac OS itself that does it. This has been reported to cause S9 machines to no longer accept that SD card unless you reformat it.
I don't think it will affect ResScan, but the S9 machine will want to reformat the card. i.e. the doctor should be able to read the card even if a Mac messed with it.
Even if you do screw up the SD card, the S9 machine should still have most of the data, just not the airflow(?) data.
Just to be safe, put the write protect tab to lock before feeding an S9 SD card to your Mac. Be sure to unlock it before putting it in your CPAP.
See if YOUR resscan will read it.
I wonder if your doc simply has an old virgin of ResScan and it doesn't understand your late model CPAP.
