From one of the blogs that analyzed their study data
http://understandnutrition.blogspot.ca/

The group that ate the most eggs had an average age of 69.77 years compared to only 55.70 years for the group who ate the least eggs.

The authors promote the idea that egg yolks are bad because they are high in cholesterol and eating foods high in cholesterol supposedly increases serum cholesterol in the blood. However, as stated earlier, the group that ate the most eggs actually had the lowest total cholesterol, lowest LDL cholesterol, and highest HDL cholesterol. According to their data, it seems that eating lots of eggs actually promotes a healthier cholesterol profile and lower body mass index. Amazingly, the authors do not address this in their paper nor do they hypothesize on what mechanism is causing high egg consumption to increase plaque buildup.

Alternatively, this data could be interpreted completely differently. The data shows the individuals who ate the most eggs were the oldest and had the most plaque after their stroke. Perhaps the eggs actually had a protective effect allowing those who ate the most eggs to withstand more plaque buildup and live the longer before having a stroke. Those individuals who ate the fewest eggs had a stroke an average of 14 years earlier than those who ate the most eggs. Perhaps if they would have been eating more eggs, they would have lived longer without a stroke.

Well I think you're all right. The only problem is that you're right for you and most likely others but not everyone. Research studies have their flaws so i don't put too much credit into them. My current concerns are with the Omega 3's & 6's. Reference http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/omega-3-000316.htm/ There needs to be a balance here between the oils however there's precious few foods that have 3's at all. The 6's are highest in corn & soy oils. Guess what is getting the lions share of subsidies and eventually gets into every processed food we eat ? I don't know about you but I'm sure there's a link between those "foods" and obesity, diabetes & heart disease. Being a cardiac patient & TT I need to evolve into a paleo dieter as some of you have, but I'm not quite there yet.

I'm really liking this from Janknitz !
We eat "pastured" eggs from a local farm (my favorite are the Tiffany blue eggs from Arcuna hens). Most mornings I eat two pastured eggs with a bunch of veggies, cooked in lovely grass fed butter and/or coconut oil. Most afternoons I have a homemade protein smoothie made with almond milk, coconut milk, some flavoring (coffee crystals, almond butter, or a few berries) and two egg yolks. And today there is a sliced hard boiled egg on my lunch salad. Yum!

And my cholesterol is EXCELLENT!!
I wish i could do this where i am but no such luck. What i do now is make a green juice from kale or Swiss chard, raw beet, carrots, fruit & protein powder w/ some turmeric. Not real tasty but it helps to lower my BP.

I'm sorry if I ask too many questions Doctor, but I hope you understand that breathing while sleeping is very important to me. I'd prefer not to be like the man who drowned while crossing a river with an average depth of 6 inches.

The people who do these studys, are required to change their views 180 degrees every ten years of less, it's written in their contract, if they comply they have jobs for life, with nothing produced. If they didn't find jobs like this, we'd have to put them all on the Supreme Court, as that's all they could qualify for. Jim

According to Dr. Jerry Francisco, the Shelby County coroner who performed the autopsy, "Elvis had coronary disease and hypertension. Butter probably produced more damage on his heart than drugs."

Well I think Dr. Francisco probably had more butter in his cranium than brains ... and you can quote me on that.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
