This may be a long shot - but with summer in full swing here with temps into the up 90's every day - and course out bedroom is upstairs - so it is roasting every night - with a fan in the windows, it gets cool around 2-3 in the morning. Both my wife and I would LOVE to be able to lay down into bed, and be able to breath some cooler air - not cold, just cooler than the air in the bedroom.
Do any of on here have ANY suggestions on how we might be able to do that?
Thanks

Re: Heat
Either AC or a swamp cooler, depending on the humidity there.

Re: Heat
Close your windows while the cool night air is still in the room and keep them closed and blinds closed during the day. I've read about people putting ice in their humidifier but I think that would be a very good idea. Imagine your nose/body's shock at the cold air and the heat would melt the ice. I think that there are lots of ways you can work on keeping your bedroom cool. Maybe move down a level white the temps are high. Look online for ideas.

Have you just moved to U.S., from the North Pole, I'd think you would have seen heat before. If you mean XPAP, mount a refridgator outside the bedroom, put a XPAP inside it, crack the door a little so it can take in fresh air, run the XPAP hose (insulated of course) thru the bedroom wall. The A/c might be cheaper though. Jim

Re: Heat
Do like they did in the old days, put some ice in a bowl, size depending on how long you want it and set it by the intake of the unit. It will draw the cool air of the melting ice. When I was a young lad we'd put a big chunk of ice in a large bowl and let a fan blow across it to use for cooling. Better stop, I'm telling my age.

Re: Heat
My dad hung wet gunny sacks outside the window, with a large window fan in the window.
Quite a bit cooler, as long as you don't mind the smell of cottonseed cow kibble.
