Which APAP Would Be Right For Me?

Post by Sleeping With The Enemy » Sat Feb 05, 2005 8:10 pm

I'm currently on Remstar Plus w/C-Flex. I wonder which autopap would be the best one for me. My rate now on this runs at 12.4.

Since you are familiar with remstar why not go for a remsttar auto with c-flex.
Just be sure you can get the clinician manual and software . There as those that would keep that information from you.

I was wondering if the 420e or whatever it is called would take care of the c-flex part. Trying to save money....

hhunt,

The Puritan Bennett 420E does not have any feature like C-flex. The difference in price is in the software. The Remstar auto w/humidifier is about the same price as the 420E but the software and card reader are about $200 additional. The 420E package includes the sotware.
Sincerely,

would I still need the c-flex or would the auto take care of it? (meaning not being able to handle the air blowing at me when I'm trying to exhale)...What would be the best route to meet my needs and that I could have software, I guess I'd end up buying the software??? Insurance won't pay?
