My SleepyHead charts/data from Jun 26

Post by no1texan » Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:07 am

I am now using Photobucket (from my home computer) and posting charts from last night, Jun 26. Someone asked how I am feeling - I notice several small but significant areas that get my attention...hey, this is better than before. I have said earlier, I am at the same time dealing with adjusting to the BiPAP/Sleep apnea also needing to lose a whole lot of weight. So any improvement from the sleep apnea therapy might be hidden by how I am feeling as a result of my obesity condition. But I do see an improvement of wanting to do more, get back to my walking each day and visits to gym, and above all eating properly. Many cuddos to my wife for preparing excellent and right foods for me to stay on a high protein low carb plan. Still need to get a smiley face in this box... Image Image Image Image Image Image

What smiley in what box?
I have seen you mention it but I don't know what smiley you are talking about.

When I was successful in finally learning how to post the charts I wanted to put a smiling face or happy face. I clicked on the smiley face to copy and paste but that evidently is not the way to do it-it didn't work. I tried FAQ but nothing there about how to put a smiley face in a post.

To insert a smiley, just put your cursor (the blinky thing that moves along as you type) where you want the smiley to appear and then click the one you want. That's it.

You wont see the actual smiley until after you submit the post. Instead you will see something like a colon followed by a closed parenthesis, or a colon followed by a capital letter "D", or something else entirely depending on which smiley you click.

Congratulations, you are on the right track!

I feel your numbers are improving daily. I don't pretend to be an expert, but I think you still need to improve the leaks, then it should be much better.

You are trying to change many things in your life at the same time so don't get discouraged when things don't happen fast enough. I am also on low carb diet for a month. 22 pounds are already gone. I hope you can do better than me

I'm indebted to another on this forum - thanks mikewithe - that was simple enough.

Singapore - I think you are on course with your assessment. From what little I have learned+how I am feeling I think I am going in the right direction. But I will not let down - actually I look forward to going to bed now. Before I would stay up till 1 - 2 a.m. saying to myself I just need to relax a little more before tomorrow comes. I like the sounds of the ocean waves - about 25 miles from my house (I don't hear them -my hearing is not that good-but when we travel to the beach), or rain on a tin roof - our patio just outside our door has a tin roof and is nice when it rains (I was born in the middle of a central Texas thunderstorm) ....not saying my BiPAP is the same sound but it's blowing air/wind is close enough to lull me to sleep.

And I will work on the leaks as soon as the rep from Preferred Homecare brings the modem for my BiPAP.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

It hasn't been that long since your near-resignation post, what a turnaround. The good news from looking at your graphs is that there is a lot of room for improvement (look at me pugsy and robysue, I'm learning stuff!) and thus for you to continue feeling better and better. So glad things are moving in a better direction -- and that you figured out how to put the smilies in your posts !
