Audrey: the fitlife is suppose to fit under the lower lip, above the chin... in the crevice between the lower lip and chin. I question it when I first started using it, but MaryZ responded back to me and said that's where it fits on her.

Yep Sheriff that's it. I really like it so far.
Glad it works for you! Most folks start using the total face mask as a last resort, and that's true for me. I see very few folks here that use this type of mask when starting out on their cpap journey. If you can get past the "largeness" of the mask, it eliminates the nose sores, both inside and out. It's great for mouth breathers, and if your cheeks (chipmunks) are smooth, its easy to get a good seal. The last time I was at our forum host (cpap.com), the nice lady said they couldn't keep the mask on the shelf. I always recommend the nasal, full face, the hybrid... then the total... in that order. Though I am happy with the total mask, I envy the folks that can successfully use a nasal mask.
