OT: gas under $3

Post by greatunclebill » Sat Jun 23, 2012 10:10 am

It sure is good to see the gas prices dropping. In lower Alabama this morning we bought gas for $2.89 a gallon. What's it like in your area?

You have to be kidding, all the gas in this country and some of yours comes from here and we don't get a break on the price. The news this weekend was that the long weekend is coming up and gas prices are rising...but gas to the suppliers went down.......go figure
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Thanks for reminding me of that site. It is actually a pretty good one. Real users update the local prices and it even gives (how long ago)...

I think the app would be worth it. Going to dl it now myself to my DroidX

Yes we are the province where they pump up the stuff and send it raw somewhere else. Three leaking pipes in 3 weeks across flat prairie and they want to put a pipeline through the Rockies.

Our local TV station has a link to what the call "Pump Patrol" http://www.wandtv.com/Global/category.a ... enu589_2_3

It starts in our town of Decatur, Illinois but you can zoom out and around to get the entire US (48 states). They say it's based on Gas Buddy data so the map is probably available elsewhere. Yep - here it is: http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx Pretty cool.

It's NOT always to the penny
but will give you an idea
Some people use a cash price which in CT can be .10 less
I see a .60-.70 swing in diesel from 1 side of town to the other.
GREED

The App is FREE.
